returns and refund policy

Some products are supplied directly by the brands, some are supplied by Eco Mamas Market. To find out which one, check the ‘Returns’ tab in the product description.

IF YOU PURCHASED A PRODUCT SUPPLIED BY A VENDOR:

Review their returns and refund policy. You can find this in the Returns tab, under the product description.

 

IF YOU PURCHASED  A PRODUCT SUPPLIED BY ECO MAMAS MARKET:

We value you, our customer, and our relationship with you so will endeavour to remedy any issue, within reason. We deal with each return and refund request on its own merits.

Please ensure that you take time to review the full product description, taking note of sizes, colour, shipping timeframes and other details.

 

I CHANGED MY MIND

If you have not opened your purchase and no longer want the product, you can return it with agreement from us. The criteria are:

  • Not all items can be returned eg perishables, hygiene, bath and sales items
  • Email hello@ecomamasmarket.com for agreement to return. Include your order number
  • You notify us within 14 days of receiving the product and the item is returned to us within 14 days of approval
  • The product needs to be unopened and the product and packaging need to be unmarked
  • You return the product at your own cost and it reaches us undamaged
  • Refunds will be in the form of store credit
  • We will refund you after receipt of the item, verifying first that the product and packaging are undamaged
  • Your refund will exclude the actual shipping cost incurred in the original sale- we ship products for free but there is a cost to us

 

THE PRODUCT IS DAMAGED OR FAULTY

If the product was damaged when you received it or faulty on initial use, please notify us, return the item and we will replace it. The criteria are:

  • Email hello@ecomamasmarket.com notifying us of the damage. Include your order number and pictures
  • You notify us within 7 days of receiving the product and the item is returned to us within 14 days of that notification
  • We will cover the shipping cost

 

THE PRODUCT DID NOT LAST AS LONG AS I EXPECTED IT TO:

Products should last a reasonable amount of time but sometimes a faulty one slips through. If you are disappointed in the longevity of a product:

  • Email us at hello@ecomamasmarket.com. Include your order number, date of purchase, photos and reason
  • We treat every case on its own merits and will act in a reasonable manner. We will also be guided by the vendor’s own return policy
  • We will cover the shipping cost

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY LOYALTY POINTS?:

if you return an item, either to the vendors or to Eco Mamas Market, any loyalty points earned on the purchase will be debited from the purchaser’s loyalty points account. If the points balance is less than the points earned on the item returned, then the points balance will be returned to zero and the dollar value of the loyalty points shortfall will be deducted from the refund/ credit given for the returned item.
